Music
Music at St. Gertrude Parish cultivates, supports, and beautifies our liturgies, drawing the hearts and minds of the faithful to God through the Roman Catholic Church’s treasury of sacred music. Through singing, our choristers grow not only in musical and vocal skill, but also in their participation in the spiritual and cultural life of the Catholic faith—becoming living witnesses to its beauty and developing a lifelong love of sacred music and service to the Church.
St. Gertrude Parish Choirs
The Parish sustains a rich choral program comprising six choirs, each contributing uniquely to the solemnity and beauty of worship throughout the week and the liturgical year. To learn more, click on the choirs below or view our 2025–2026 Music Program Brochure.

Sacred Music Series
Bringing together world-class artists from across the United States and Europe to share the Catholic Church’s vast treasury of sacred music in concerts, musical meditations, and liturgies.

Friends of Sacred Music
Friends of Sacred Music is a community of benefactors and lovers of sacred art who support the long-term flourishing of music, outreach, and arts education at St. Gertrude Parish. Our vision is to sustain a world-class model of musical excellence in Roman Catholic parish life — engaging communities, forming souls through beauty, and serving as a leading voice in sacred music.
Because the parish generously supports liturgical music, Friends of Sacred Music focuses on long-term and capital projects, including supporting the Sacred Music Series, the acquisition of new musical instruments, and our choirs’ international sacred music outreach tours.
